2010 Challenge

"Lord, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, O Lord.Renew them in our day, in our time make them known; in wrath remember mercy."

Habakkuk 3.2

Dear Browncroft,

Sunday, January 3rd, I gave a message that I don't want anyone to miss. It's a spiritual challenge that I am asking every one of us take.  To watch or listen - click here

It begins right away and will impact your life every day of this year. I believe with all my heart that if you take it your life will change. You will have an increased spiritual strength, greater clarity on God's purposes for you and a joy that nothing in this world can give you.

I believe too as an increasing number of us take it our church will also change. We will be drawn closer to God, to each other and to his even greater desires for our body.

As your pastor I want you to know that I have taken this challenge, have challenged our staff and leaders to take it and am looking forward with expectation to what God will do in my life as well as your life in the months to come.

To this end I am asking that you let us know how taking this challenge has impacted your life. We will have a link on our homepage later this month, so that you have the opportunity to share your story with us.

May God renew his deeds and great power in our lives and in our church in this our day.

Blessings,
Pastor Rob

PURSUE

The Calling

60 mins./week
on your calling

Spend one hour a week pursuing your calling to bring the kingdom of God to another person or place in your sphere of influence.

The last Sunday in October over 500 of us handed in a calling card that represented a tangible commitment to bring the kingdom of God to our world. Some made a commitment to move toward a lost neighbor, some to pray for a lost friend, some to read to children in need, some to make a greater personal investment in the kids at their school, some to commit to pray specifically for a missionary, some to plan to be a short-term missionary.
