God never intended that we should travel the journey of faith alone. From the beginning, God intended that His people live in community with one another. Taking the step to become a member at Browncroft demonstrates that you are committed to grow our relationships and deepen our connection to the local body of Christ.

As a member of Browncroft, we have a voice in decision-making and the choosing of leaders, and are eligible to join our core leadership teams upon nomination and selection. 

Am I ready to become a member?

The first step in becoming a member is to consider if you are ready to become a member. We encourage members to consider how they might answer each of the following questions. An affirmative answer to each indicates one is ready to pursue membership at Browncroft. 

• Have I made the decision to follow Jesus as the sole-leader of my life?
• Do I want to make a long-term commitment to Browncroft Community Church?
• Do I agree with the mission and vision of Browncroft Community Church? (Link)
• Do I agree and support the beliefs of Browncroft Community Church? (Link)
• To the best of my ability, am I living a life of holiness in keeping with the desire of God, relationally and sexually? 
• Have I been attending Browncroft regularly, at least three (3) out of (4) Sundays for at least six (6) months?

The Membership Process

If a person can provide an affirmative answer to each of the questions above and desires to become a member, we ask that they take the following steps.

• Fill out an on-line membership application expressing one’s desire to become a member of Browncroft Community Church. Applications are reviewed on an on-going basis.

• Pick up and complete the Membership Experience book, available at the Information Desk. (Note: The completion of this guide prior to attending a one-day membership event is required.)

• Attend a one-day interactive membership event.

Those persons who have completed these steps are then presented to the Elders for approval as members.
