Traditional Worship - 8:45 am
Currently there is one traditional worship service at 8:45 am in the Sanctuary. This service is distinctly different from the contemporary services. Congregational singing is led by organ, piano, choir and a song leader. The Hymnal for Worship and Celebration is used for almost all congregational singing. Choir anthems, formal scripture reading, traditional and inspirational vocal solos, and instrumental ministries are also part of the traditional worship experience. The sermon is identical in all three worship services.
Contemporary Worship - 10:00 & 11:15 am
Currently there are 2 identical contemporary worship services at 10:00 am & 11:15 am in the sanctuary. They are designed to engage those who enjoy group singing led by keyboard, drums, bass, guitar and a small team of vocalists. Drama, multimedia, and contemporary Christian vocal solos or ensembles are also a part of what attenders will encounter as part of the worship experience. The sermon is identical in all three worship services.
The 10:00 am service is ASL-interpreted for people who are deaf or hard of hearing. Interpreters can be made available for other services and sponsored events upon request. For more information, click here.
Note that Adult Christian Educational classes are also offered Sunday mornings.
Definition of Worship: Worship is the believer's response to God's grace and glory as revealed in His Son, Jesus Christ. It involves the whole self: body, mind and spirit in the declaration of His worth.
