Thanks for joining me on this journey. One way I connect best with God and his Word is while running or exercising. So, come with me now and see where God leads us.

Wow! Imagine having 30 friends to stick with you and loyally support you in thick and thin! That’s what David had as King of Israel. Among those 30 “mighty men”, 3 were his closest & most trusted - the ones he could depend on to be there, and fight any time any where, under even the most challenging circumstances. These guys would go to the wall for David and work to their maximum capacity to fulfill his needs and requests. Wouldn’t it be terrific if we had a friend or two like that?

Well, God has promised us that we do. We have the triune God, the Trinity – God himself. God has promised to always be there, always support us, and never fail us. All we have to do is acknowledge His presence, depend on him and put our faith in His unfailing love and grace to provide for our needs, see us through in times of trouble and cheer with us in times of joy. God is the ultimate friend. He gives us clear, honest feedback and direction. He loves us despite our flaws and strengths, and He is always available to listen and forgive. All we need to do is approach God humbly, draw ourselves near to Him, and recognize the amazing ways He can and will support us. Then thank Him! Let’s do it.
