This past Sunday I put forth a challenge to our entire church to meditate on a single passage of Scripture, Psalm 25.4-5.

Show me your ways, LORD
Teach me your paths.
Guide me in your truth and teach me,
For you are God my Savior,
And my hope is in you all day long.

Meditating on God’s Word—focused attention on a single passage—is the way the words of the Bible become God's word to each of us.

If you’ve taken this challenge how might you go deeper with this word today? Is there one request from the many in this passage that God is speaking to you about? One that has become a prayer for an area of needed growth in your life today?

Wherever you are in the process, don’t rush! Hiding God’s Word in your heart takes time. Enjoy it.
