Biography
A servant of Jesus Christ and a laborer of His love, greetings and praise to God for His eternal word. My name is Theo Wheeler. My wife Lisa and I have three boys, Alex, Zach and Caban. We were born and raised in Syracuse and have now lived in Penfield for nine years. Our move was God’s design, yet we thought it was because of our Wedding Publication Business. We have been attending Browncroft for five years, and have been members for most of that time. We serve our God through leading a Community Group every week, Flower City Workcamp, and Children’s ministry. We are currently working on organizing an Adoption Ministry.
Reflection
When things are going good why do we need God? The longer He is out of our mind, the more distant we become and the easier it is to stray. I love the saying, “don’t forget where you came from.” The power behind that is endless. First, I remember I was made in the image of God, this is how I was created. Second, I came from a poor family with a single mom that had little. I have learned to appreciate everything I have received in my life, because I don’t forget the feeling of having nothing. If Israel could only stay close to the God that had always rescued them, they would never think of straying. I will praise You in the good times and in the storm. Stay close.
