Judges 13 Week 3 : Day 5

written by Theo Wheeler

Biography

A servant of Jesus Christ and a laborer of His love, greetings and praise to God for His eternal word. My name is Theo Wheeler. My wife Lisa and I have three boys, Alex, Zach and Caban. We were born and raised in Syracuse and have now lived in Penfield for nine years. Our move was God’s design, yet we thought it was because of our Wedding Publication Business. We have been attending Browncroft for five years, and have been members for most of that time. We serve our God through leading a Community Group every week, Flower City Workcamp, and Children’s ministry. We are currently working on organizing an Adoption Ministry.

Reflection

How faithful God continues to be. Regardless of how many times we, His children, do evil and misbehave, God rescues us. He may try to teach us a lesson by leaving us in our mess for some time, but He never leaves us. He always comes back, to bring us out of our perils, and deliver us from evil. The way He chooses to save us is always interesting and something to meditate on. He again uses a barren woman to bring forth a great leader. This makes me think of all the times God has done great things through those that are faithful.

Have you seen an angel lately? Don’t ever under estimate the ways of the Lord. Even though Manoah did not know this “man” was an angel, his wife had a feeling he might be. She said, “he looked like an angel of God, very awesome.” Keep your eyes of your heart open for God’s messages.

Your fellow traveler,
Theo

Re: Judges 13 :: Be Faithful

Theo,

Thank you for your reflections on this weeks readings. God is amazing and loves us so much to protect and guide at all times. He has unique ways in teaching us to trust in him, stay close to him, be faithful and allow him to use us.
