Missions at Browncroft

From its beginning, Browncroft has been a missions-minded church. The congregational concern for world missions is reflected in its support of missionaries both financially and with personnel. Below are some of the ways you can get involved.

Missions Connection
These are held on the second Sunday of each month. On these special days all adult Bible classes combine to hear updates and prayer concerns for our missionaries. Any missionaries home on furlough and in the area will share firsthand their special work and needs.

Worldwide Harvest Celebration
This annual event, is usually held each fall and features keynote speakers as well as reports from our missionaries.

Missionary Fellowship Circles
The Missionary Fellowship circles are a meaningful avenue of service for for those desiring active involvement in the Browncroft mission program.  The heart of each monthly circle meeting is prayer for and correspondence with our missionaries.  Hearing first-hand how the Lord is working is a blessing as well.

Sisters Serving Africa
This women's group at Browncroft seeks to express the love of Christ to women and children living in desperate, little-reached areas of the world. Since our group’s beginning in 2004, our focus has been the country of Sudan. We meet on the 4th Monday of each month in room A-10.

Support Missions Agencies
Browncroft's budget for missions is approximately broken down as follows: 10% local missions, 20% national missions, and 70% international missions. You can help support these ministries by designating a gift to Missions, now available online.

Wolof Partnership
This program is designed to provide you with the opportunity to connect personally and meaningfully with missionaries supported by Browncroft Community Church.

Short Term Mission Trips
These offer short-term opportunities for service in places such as Haiti, France, Bolivia, the inner city, and American rural locations.
