From its beginning, Browncroft has been a Christ-centered church with a deep missions focus. The congregational engagement in world missions is reflected in its support of missionaries financially, with prayer, and with personnel. Below are some specific ways you can get involved.
Our direct link to Missions at Browncroft is held on the second Sunday of each month at 11:00 in the gym. This is the best opportunity to hear personal updates and prayer concerns from our missionaries, as well as testimonies from folks that have just returned from a short-term mission experience.
This annual event, held in October, features keynote speakers and opportunities to get “up close and personal” with some of our Browncroft-supported missionaries.
The Missionary Fellowship groups are a meaningful avenue of service for those desiring active involvement in the Browncroft mission program. The heart of each group’s monthly meeting is prayer for and correspondence with our missionaries. Hearing first-hand how the Lord is working is a blessing as well. more >>
Sisters Serving Africa
Prayer for Africa is the focus of this Missionary Fellowship Group. We meet at 8:30 AM on the 3rd Saturday of each month. Contact the Missions Office for the location of the next meeting.
Browncroft's budget for missions is approximately broken down as follows: 10% local missions, 20% national missions, and 70% international missions. You can help support these ministries by designating a gift to Missions.
After much prayer, this strategic partnership with those working among the Wolof people of Senegal was initiated. Browncroft believes that God has called us to extend His Kingdom into all the world, and with the least-reached Wolof people in particular. We are open to the Lord’s using us in the establishment of His church among the Wolof. more >>
