Regathering UPDATE:

September 2020

WE ARE REGATHERING!

At Browncroft we believe we honor God by loving each other and our community. That's why we are being intentional in our planning and purposeful with precautions as we strive to rise to the challenge of COVID-19. We have a regathering plan that is both incremental and flexible to adjust to changing public health dynamics.

As you make plans to return to Sunday services on site, please remember to pre-register for your seats each week at browncroft.org/seats

Below is more information about what procedures and precautions to expect on campus. And if your children will be participating in our Browncroft Kids small groups, please get the most up-to-date information here

We're excited to see you in person or online!

Please Remember These Regathering Rules!

For the safety of all, everyone who enters the church campus must:

REGISTER

Please register before coming to church every week. Registration will be available at browncroft.org/seats or text "seats" to 585-299-5115. Registration will open up on Thursday morning of each week prior to Sunday. This easy to use system will take just minutes and provide each person and family with socially distanced seating. Please be sure to bring your registration to church with you on Sunday.

COVER

Wear a face covering at all times on campus.

SANITIZE

Use hand santizer at stations set up around the campus.

DISTANCE

Maintance safe social distancing of at least 6 feet from other households.

Additional Thoughts:

1) Please arrive to church about 10 minutes before the service begins to check-in and find your assigned selected seat.

2) After services end, please wait to be dismissed by section to maintain social distancing while exiting.

3) Sunday Kids Programming will begin for kids, ages 3 through 5th Grade, on September 20th. Additonal information will be provided about Sunday Kids programming in the near future. (Students 6-12 Grade Wednesday Program will begin on September 23rd)

4) As a part of your registration you will be asked Covid-19 screening questions. If you develop symptoms or travel to a high risk state, we ask that you do not come to campus until your symptoms have subsided, and your quarantine expired.

5) We highly encourage you to give online at browncroft.org/give. For those who desire to bring a physical offering a secure offering box is provided in the Main Lobby.  We will not be passing the offering as a part of our worship service.

6) Outside of the Sanctuary, all rooms, including our Cafe and Gym, remain closed until further notice.

7) All Sunday staff and volunteers will be temperature checked.

7) The Sanctuary and lobby areas have been treated with EnviroShield, commercial disinfection system. This propriety product offers medical-grade disinfection through electrostatic application.  EnviroShield has no adverse effects to the environment, staff or visitors. In the application process it wraps around surfaces to eliminate germs in traditionally hard to reach areas, eliminating over 99.99% of bacteria and  viruses.

In addition, our online experiences will continue to meet. Because a lot has changed, we wanted to share with you the latest ministry offerings and opportunities as we have them today.

  • Our Sunday services will continue to be broadcast from our website at our normal times (9am, 10:30am, and 5pm) on browncroft.live.  Each of these are a full service that includes a live chat for those interested in connecting with a leader for conversation or prayer during the service.

  • In addition, all services are streamed on our Facebook and YouTube pages. Our full services are subsequently posted by Sunday Evening on our website and our Facebook and YouTube page for viewing throughout the week (browncroft.org/messages).

  • The Sunday sermon is also now shown every Sunday at 11am on Penfield TV channel 1301 on Spectrum. This is a great option for people in our community that are now homebound without access to a computer or reliable WIFI.

  • We also have launched a Family Experience geared for families with young children which streams every Sunday at 11:30am (browncroft.live). In addition we have developed additional resources for families on our Kids Online Page on our website (browncroft.org/kidsonline).

  • Our Student Ministry is also hosting a weekly gathering, Wednesday Night Live, that includes a mix of worship, teaching and fun interaction with leaders and friends (YouTube.com/browncroftstudents).

  • We have also launched a Browncroft Cares page (browncroft.org/cares) that highlights opportunities to serve our congregation and community during this challenging time. Opportunities are updated weekly where families and individuals can participate.

  • For those of you not engaged in social media I encourage you to check out our Facebook page (facebook.com/browncroft) and our Instagram feed (instagram.com/browncroft) for new content weekly as well as opportunities to pray together virtually.

If you have a need we want to help you.  Please go to our community update page and scroll to the bottom for the ‘share your need’ option at the bottom of this page. You can also call our main office during the week (585-586-0930).

The main office also continues to receive mail for those wanting to mail in their offerings. Many have begun to give regularly now online (browncroft.org/give). We greatly appreciate those of you who have now set up recurring gifts through our secure system. This helps us best maintain our ministry and plan ahead while we are not meeting together.

Finally, look for a weekly email on Mondays and Thursdays that will help you stay engaged in the life of the church, including new ways to connect and serve.
