THE GOSPEL & RELATIONSHIPS

The church needs to claim its identity as a people with a distinct character and mission—to be a countercultural community within the larger society. We need to be one that regularly strives to grow in holiness while leaving the judgement of the outside world to God. As such a community, the members are called to take an active responsibility for one another’s lives and spiritual wholeness. We do this with great humility and care toward the greater goal of being a community that brings the hope of a different way of life to an unbelieving world.
